Full Steam Ahead: A Night of Networking with CoreNet

As the weather gets warmer here in New York, it’s time for us to enjoy some of our favorite local events and networking parties. Last Thursday, our team and our guests enjoyed another wonderful evening at the New York City Chapter of CoreNet’s Annual Dinner. Once again, attendance was at a record high for the sold-out event on the iconic Intrepid Museum on the Hudson River in Manhattan. All Aboard: Workwell Celebrates CoreNet NYC Annual Dinner

Back at it for another year! As some of you may remember from last year, our team and invited guests attended the “it” event for Commercial Real Estate in New York City, the New York City Chapter of CoreNet Global’s Annual Dinner. With attendance being at an all time high for this coveted event, this night of networking and celebration was held at a new venue, the Intrepid Museum. From the design competition to the performance by saxophonist, Alex Foster, this night did not disappoint! It was an evening filled with great conversation, delicious food and drinks amongst colleagues, clients, and friends. Our Night With The WELL Building Standard

Last week, our team attended the New York City Chapter of CoreNet Global’s Sustainability Community’s discussion on the WELL Building Standard (WELL). The discussion was both interesting and informative, with many audience questions and real life applications in organizations in New York City. What was most beneficial about the event was learning about how the certification can positively impact the sustainability of the space, as well as the health of the occupants. What is WELL? WELL is one of the most comprehensive building standards that promotes health, well-being, and sustainability in the built environment. The Top Three Workplace Trends We Saw at Facebook NY

On Tuesday, May 5th our team was part of a tour at Facebook’s New York City Headquarters, hosted by CoreNet Global’s Young Leaders. Facebook’s offices, located at 770 Broadway in Manhattan, take up space on the 2nd, 7th and 8th floors of the building that also houses tenants like J. Crew, AOL, Huffington Post and Structure Tone. Like their campus in California, the offices here in New York were designed by the iconic Frank Gehry and feature many of the same design elements that the campus has, such as the industrial finishes on the ceilings of the office. Like many creative and entrepreneurial spaces, Facebook has developed a reputation for having really interesting offices that are cool, unique, and memorable. Workwell Attends NYC Commercial Real Estate Event of the Year

On Thursday, our team and invited guests enjoyed an evening of networking and celebration at the “it” event for Commercial Real Estate in New York City: the New York City Chapter of CoreNet Global’s Annual Dinner at the American Museum of Natural History. With nearly 900 guests in attendance, we were treated to great conversation with industry partners and friends, as well as delicious food and drinks.
