We are excited to announce our participation in the Annual Toys for Tots Foundation toy drive as an official drop-off location. This holiday toy collection and distribution program serves to brighten the holiday season for local children in need by providing them with new toys. As in years past, we encourage the local community, our industry partners, family and friends to donate new, unwrapped toys by bringing them to our office at 6 East 32nd Street, 8th Floor in Manhattan from now until Tuesday, December 13, 2016. With toys ranging from puzzles to stuffed animals, Toys for Tots provides children of all ages with toys to raise spirits in what can be a difficult time of the year for the less fortunate. Let’s help to make this holiday season extra bright for children in need in our local communities!

This Post Originally Appeared on Office Envy’s Website Rising real estate costs and shrinking workstations have forced several of Workwell Partner’s clients to think outside the cubicle when it comes to laying out their space. In recent months, we’ve seen explosive growth coupled with a lack of inventory, forcing several New York City companies to stay in place and work with what they have. Recently, media company Purch, tapped Workwell to assist in maximizing their space for new employees. As a result of accommodating new seats and a maxed-out floor plan, Purch soon recognized that they needed to reintroduce a collaborative lounge space for their team. While in a brainstorming session with the client, it was clear that we didn’t have much room to work with in the workstation areas. However, there was a lot of potential in the reception area. Purch loved the idea of turning the empty reception into a bustling lounge for their […]

Guest Post Written By: Scott Lesizza, Principal at Workwell Partners Because it’s what I do for a living, most of my posts revolve around making the workplace a better place to spend your time. What’s often neglected is the importance of ENJOYING the camaraderie of your team members. It means getting to know their life’s ambitions, their hopes and dreams, how their kid played in last Friday’s football game, sharing in the joy of their new daughter, and understanding the “whys” about why they had a bad day at the office. What really makes people loyal to an organization is rarely how “cool” their new 5-foot-wide bench is (we do our best but understand it’s not that cool), or how amazing their cafeteria is. It’s about getting to know and care for those that we spend most of our time with. So at the end of the day, all that we do (and I mean […]

One of the best times of the year for our team is our Annual Company Outing. Each year, we try to plan a fun-filled and memorable day for our employees to spend time together in a casual stress-free setting as a small thank them for all they do throughout the year. This year, we have to really pat ourselves on the back, as we think we’ve outdone ourselves. With the help of the folks at Rock, Paper, Team, our staff embarked on a fast-paced, hysterically funny photo scavenger hunt in the Financial District of Manhattan. Each team was given a list of tasks to complete and take photos of during the hunt, which started at our office. Everything from the subway ride downtown to the bar challenge was planned perfectly to provide us the opportunity to think outside the box and integrated our company and brand into the search. We were given fun challenges like: “entire team sing […]
