Workwell for Warriors Update

This time last year our team adopted Hope for the Warriors as our official charity. Since then we’ve participated in their Big Apple Runs, hosted our own event for them, and held collections in our office to support those who are in the program. You can read more about this charity and our past involvement with them on our Workwell for Warriors page here. In the past few months, there are two events that we participated in that support this charity. The first being a school supply collection. We collected backpacks and school supplies for those families who benefit from the program. This collection was done in the spring instead of the fall so that Hope for the Warriors could distribute these supplies to the families in the program over the summer in time for the start of school! Join Workwell As We Participate In Toys For Tots

We are excited to announce our participation in the Annual Toys for Tots Foundation toy drive as an official drop-off location. This holiday toy collection and distribution program serves to brighten the holiday season for local children in need by providing them with new toys. As in years past, we encourage the local community, our industry partners, family and friends to donate new, unwrapped toys by bringing them to our office at 6 East 32nd Street, 8th Floor in Manhattan from now until Tuesday, December 13, 2016. With toys ranging from puzzles to stuffed animals, Toys for Tots provides children of all ages with toys to raise spirits in what can be a difficult time of the year for the less fortunate. Let’s help to make this holiday season extra bright for children in need in our local communities!

In recent months, we’ve seen explosive growth coupled with a lack of inventory, forcing several New York City companies to stay in place and work with what they have. Recently, media company Purch, tapped Workwell to assist in maximizing their space for new employees. As a result of accommodating new seats and a maxed-out floor plan, Purch soon recognized that they needed to reintroduce a collaborative lounge space for their team.  While in a brainstorming session with the client, it was clear that we didn’t have much room to work with in the workstation areas.
